dArama makes for bad stories.

"Look at this."

"…This is your laptop monitor. I fail to--"

"That's right, you fail! You fail because you're creating massive amounts of drama on teh internetz, specifically dArama!!"

I glared up at the current object of my annoyance, not that it was really the six-foot-tall cat's fault, but he was an easy target for blame. He ignored my gaze, instead training his violet eyes on the monitor he was leaning down to see. After a moment, he straightened back up and scoffed.

"This is not my doing," the Genetic Pokémon insisted. "These are the rantings of several ridiculous young women concerning their depictions of my image--"

"--I think a couple guys commented in there--"

This time he returned the glare at my interruption. "Nonetheless, I fail to see your point in bringing me here. You have already violated enough copyright laws and I long for the day when you are thrown in prison for that." Mewtwo seemed to consider the idea, muse over it for a few seconds, and then looked down at me again. "Shouldn't you be doing homework instead of whining about drama you apparently despise?"

"Don't you dare change the subject, mister!" I retorted loudly and stood… In the process banging my knee on my computer desk. I caught a ghost of amusement flicker over Mewtwo's face, which only escalated my irritation further yet. "Look, if it weren't for you, none of us would've ever encountered each other, no one would've complained about other people's art or doodles or whatever, there wouldn't be another internet meme out on DeviantART, and I wouldn't be spending all my time in Pre-Calc/Trig doodling your ugly face in the margins of my notes!" At over a foot shorter than he and less intimidating, I probably wasn't making much of an impression. I didn't care. I ranted on. "People are getting into weird arguments over stuff and it all started with your face, pixellated, on the internet. You need to make this right. YOU'RE TEARING US APART!!!"

It was at that moment I realized he wasn't looking at me anymore. In the pause that ensued as I took a moment to breathe, a slight click – click – click was sounding behind me.

"Oh, now that is interesting… It's your comment… and another… and yet another…"

"That," I said, and rushed back to close my laptop, "is none of your business." My face felt hot as I slammed the device shut a little to roughly. "I was offering my opinion."

"You're quite the hypocrite."

"Oh?"

"Admit it, you and every other ridiculous human on that website feeds off of this drama like leeches. You find it most entertaining even though it bothers you immensely."

I crossed my arms and stared at the Psychic. "You're kind of annoying."

"Et tu."

"Whatever. You're no help."

"Really." He gave off an interesting sensation, like a mental chuckle of sorts. "So then you will free me from this disdainful existence as the object of both your hate and obsession?"

I grinned back, grabbing an empty water bottle and chucking it at his head. Mewtwo stopped it just before it reached its target, eyeing me reproachfully.

"Not in a million years."
